The only flawed, off bottle of the tasting. A curious mustiness on the nose. Flat and bitter on the palate. I try not to give up on a wine with flaws. More than a few of our guests were confused when I kept coming back to this wine to see if some of the off-putting notes would blow off. Not on this night. Not with this bottle. Hunting around on the nose I found ultimately what I believe to be the culprit: heat taint! Overall, I like the Drappier wines: not the most serious but I find them most attractive, accessible and well-made. So judgement deferred.
