Thirty-five years on tasting.
Fully mature ochre color. A compost nose: slightly stewed, vegetal, and evolved. Tough and dried out now. On a palate, just a touch better but not by much. A bit coarse and the astringency shows. Very little enjoyment here. Don’t think it was all that much to begin with: a brutal old-school rusticity, we think. Past whatever ‘best’ it had in the first place.
