Full garnet red color, paling rim.  Ripe, savory and sauvage nose.  Grippy, structured, masculine style on the palate, with a wall of tannin and a resulting firm finish.  Intense.  More than a bit brutish.  Over three hours the wine relax somewhat but we are left with the concern that this will dry out in the cellar before the tannins ever civilize.  I would say drink these up.  Very good though.  Drink soon.
