Full immature color.  Rich, succulent nose. Quite oaky but not aggressively so Some high pitched floral notes, some earth, musk.  A touch exotic.  A bit extracted.  Almost sweet.  But nothing overdone.  This had width and breadth.  Raspberry and morello cherry.  Structured, concentrated, nicely balanced, very good zip.  Old-viney energy and intensity.   Not a trace of the greeness that plagues some of ’04 reds.  This is a fine bottle for the vintage.  Will be very interesting to follow over the next decade.  Now – 2022.
