Lemon yellow with golden hints. Rich nose, jellied orchard fruit, hot buttered toast, hazelnut. On the palate, full, ample, concentrated. This has fine energy and intensity for village wine. Impressive grip and definition for an ’05 (a profound year for reds; maybe a bit too ripe and sweet for the whites). Very Meursault in style, plush and unhurried. Delicious. Now – 2015.
