Limpid ruby.  A profound nose: very pure cassis and blackberry; blond-tobacco, autumnal-leaf, with a top note of alpine flower. It is the harmony, breed and distinction of the fruit that stands out with this bottle: a yardstick example of Margaux velvet.  Classically structured. Refined tannins.  Fine grip.
