50% Chardonnay (Cramant, Avize, Chouilly and Mesnil/Oger); 45% PN (Aÿ, Ambonnay, Bouzy, Mailly, Verzy and Vernezay) and 5% Meunier (Dizy, Hautvillers, Venteuil and Vincelles).

Golden color with some amber.  Mature, organic, waxy nose: baked raisin bread, walnut honey, well oiled orchard fruit and earth.  Sparse but fine bead.  Soft mousse.  Middle weight palate has some nice caramel richness, decent acidity and a toffee-cream-apple skin finish of good length.  A stately grande dame of a wine.  For drinking soon.
