Oxblood red with some evolution at the rim. Fresh, harmonious, high-toned nose: Provençal herb, cooking spices, game meat, leather, black olive and clean gauze. Marrowly and elegantly textured on the palate: baked raspberry and strawberry, bacon fat. Very good acidity. Tannins are now resolved. Plenty of grip. A cool and graceful Beaucastel. Now à point. These are in a good place now. A fine bottle. Now – 2018.
