Medium brick red color, fading to amber.  Clean, soft, relaxed nose: more fresh fruit here than most ’90s, cranberry and rainier cherry.  Tannins are now fully resolved.  Not alot of backbone.  But good zip keeps this fresh and focused for village Volnay at age 23.  Maybe a bit anodyne but rewarding for what it is.  Gouleyant and good.  For drinking soon.
