Domaine Mazilly Père & Fils, Meursault Les Meurgers 2010

Emerald.  Cool, clean and nicely expansive on the nose: slightly floral white and yellow orchard fruit, hawthorn, freesia, wet stone, mineral.  Penetrating, pure and well detailed on the palate, medium-full: apricot, white nectarine, bergamot and lemon crème.  Firm ’10 acidity but not shrill.  Neat.  A nice maritime grip and finish of some length.  Expressivel of climat and has some flair.  Give it two years to fill out in the middle.  Still quite buttoned up but this will make very good Meursault.  Now – 2020.
