Waler pale. Lithe, buoyant, chiseled nose: slightly floral citrus and pit fruit, tilleul, white clover and blue slate. A weightless, lambent refinement on the palate, starched and high-bred: kaffir lime, mutsu apple, juniper and vanilla bean. Tertiary stone finish and a filigree minerality. At nine years old this is still oh so very young; it will have much more to give over the next decade+. Today, a sleek, nordic Mosel Kabinett. Now – 2020+.
