A medium straw yellow color.  Rich nose: slightly smoky yellow stone fruit, sweet basil mint, grilled cashew and talc dust.  Fullish, with a resplendent cream texture on the palate: honeyed pear, peach parfait, nutmeg.  Oak comes through on the intense, vanilla-infused finish.  Abundant fruit character if a bit obvious.  Good grip; slightly malic acidity.  Will not improve but this will keep.  For drinking soon.
