100% Pinot Noir. From La Côte des Bar, 10 g/l. Disgorged February 2012.
A cerise pink color. Plump, round and ready nose with christmas punch intensity. On the palate, a red berry temptress: voluptuous and lavishly fruited. Medium body. Soft, rolling mousse. There is a slight spun sugar sweetness that works quite well here: plush, expressive fruit that dovetails nicely into a raspberry life saver of a finish. Forward but we got a kick out of the swollen amplitude on display here. Drink soon.
