Green-gold. Adorned, cherubic nose with a metallic shimmer: glazed tropical and marmalade notes, herbal candy, marzipan, carob. Indulgent, out-sized fruit with enough citric vim to keep this on point. The texture of honeyed magma, ornamented and plush. Plaintain and limestone finish. A flowing heaviness here: despite its molten size this is kinetic, animated. So not a trollop .. more a baroque Quarts de Chaume .. but unlikely to rival the great ’89 and ’90. Now – 2020+.
