75% Pinot Noir (15% still PN); 25% Chardonnay. 2008 base vintage. Aged at least three years in Berthelot cellars. Unknown disgorgement date and dosage; current release.
Cerise pink. Chiseled, buttoned-up nose with a minimalist streak: rather sleek and stoic red fruit, oleander, aniseed, talc. A smoldering minerality. At once poised and substantial, savory-cool and scrupulous in the mouth: red currant-y, with a rhubarb and huckleberry tartness. Not desperately long but this Rosé is nourishing and intricate. Now – 2016.
