This is AP#7. Incandescent straw with a hint of emerald. Resonant, glyceric nose with a streak of proto-botrytis: orchard and tropical fruit, sandalwood, tonka bean, blossom honey, sea salt. An articulated golden in the mouth, extract-rich, the texture of panna cotta: black currant leaf, lime chiffon, pineapple gelee. Racy acidity gives the auslese-level richness a soufflé lightness. Lapidary, citrus rind and slate finish. A gilded yet refined Spätlese; will still improve. From 2015.
