Domaine Coste-Caumartin, Pommard Les Vignots 1993

Coste Caumartin 1993 #3Twenty years on tasting.

Tawny with a touch of mahogany.  Four-square and a bit chaptalized on the nose.  A dense plummy fruit, slightly stewed and lacking nerve.  A little more astringent than tannic now but the overall impression is rustic with a tilt towards rude.  Peppery finish.  Old-school Pommard, now getting a bit lumpy.  Drink up.
