Ruby gemstone.   Forest berries in deep green shade.  Resonant Volnay soil tones and spice.  A full-bodied wine, rippling with animation, staggering in its endowment and yet finely-spun in its calibration and torque.  Profoundly composed, mineral-inflected finish.  Galvanic, sensual Santenots.  A great ’93.  Will carry on for ages.  Now – 2023+.
