Luminous garnet, amber at the rim.  Fragrant autumnal earth with a metallic sheen: sous-bois, scented peony, spent ceylon tea, saffron, iodine.  Gossamer of texture, modest of body, rosehips and beetroot fruit.  Not tendre though, vital still and keeping good grip upon itself.  Gracious finish, returning again to an earthy minerality.  No ten foot waves crashing here: a Richebourg more ethereal than impact.  Moving just the same.  Now – 2020.
