Twenty-years on tasting.

Garnet.  Soft but far from tendre: this is sylphlike and intricate.  A silken, cool red fruit, no more than medium body: groseille, rosehips, touch of pomegranate.  Scented Chambolle earth and peony.  Gracious yet focused at the end.  Not the resounding dimension of the very best but utterly gorgeous in its transparency.  Airy, seemingly effortless Chatelots.  Now – 2018.
