Ruby-magenta.  Lustrous with a drenched ripeness.  Red coulis fruit and gummy violet, yet with a focus and character we found curiously missing from the ’10.  Lush, medium-full body.  Good grip.  Stony, mineralic finish.  A more convincing Chênes: the transparency shows.
