Perrier-Jouët, Brut Special Réserve ‘Belle Epoque’ (Fleur de Champagne) Épernay 1995

PJ Fleur 1995 #150% Chardonnay; 45% Pinot Noir; 5% Pinot Meunier.  Chardonnay from grand crus in the Cote des Blancs; Pinot Noir from Mailly, Verzenay and Verzy in the Montagne de Reims.

Yellow-gold.  Serene, now mature nose of coffee roast, acacia flower, hazelnut, nectarine, loquat, citrus.  Prolonged streamers you can watch all night long.  Benevolent and delicate yet latticed.  Detailed, russet finish.  Not a wine of impact; its hypnosis is carried out in silence, like a full moon rising over open fields.  You can still keep this.  Now – 2020.
