50% Chardonnay; 50% Pinot Noir. From Gyé-Sur-Seine in the Aube. Raised in stainless steel. 100% malolactic fermentation. Dosage: 9 g/l.
Yellow-gold. Intricate and pixelated on the nose: detailed notions of fruit kernel, botanical herbs and cool narcissus. Incisive and youthfully imploded in the mouth: intensely mineralic with stony pineapple cut. Coiled like a spring; so much so it feels wrung out. Aromatically à point but the palate trails behind. Needs time. Aube in nebulae form. One to cellar and revisit. Now – 2020+.
