Fifteen years on tasting.

Not as much color or richness as the Narbantons.  Fine-grained lines of ore-like minerality.  Cooling herbal tones.  Airy, red-berry fruit with an heirloom tomato sweetness.  Rust and chiseled detail at the end.  The most atmospheric of these four Savigny premier crus: dream-like and a bit fleeting.  One of those wines that stays with you long after it has departed.  Now – 2017.
