From magnum.
Gilded. It is panoramic in its suggestiveness. Initial intimations of a chest of drawers in my grandfather’s study takes on a saline streak. It finishes like driftwood washed ashore from a shipwreck. Burnished and oxidative, with praline, pan fried mushrooms, toasted brazil nut, and poached pear. The acidity is bright and finishes the wine in elegance, the wine’s richness offered without a trace of fat! Now – 2020+.
