Lacquered ruby-magenta; only its rim variation offers insight to its age.  Focused with a metallic shimmer and a capsicum freshness.  A baroque toastiness now fused to a core of immaculate blackberry fruit.  Lusty and energetic without the hardness of its youth; time has pounded out the lumps in its green tannic structure and revealed the generosity underneath.  A carbonized gunzian minerality at the end, boundless and bare.  Built to go the distance, its old-school gestalt at once timeless and reassuring.  Still miles to go.  Now – 2020+.
