Domaine Joseph Drouhin, Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru 2004

Drouhin Batard 2004 #3 Yellow-gold.  Immense Bâtard-butter intimations: vanilla-flowers, frangipane, drenched orchard fruit, toasted hazelnut. Thick with a tilt towards sur maturité: the acidity feels deficient and the finish, while saturating, is more honey and oak-spice than minerality.  A big, fat Bâtard.  For drinking soon.
