From a hectare of vines planted in ’96, ’97 and ’98 at the top of the slope in Concoeur, just north of the village of Vosne-Romanée.
Straw yellow. Quite stylish, she’s striking and leesy on entry, with notions of pâtisserie, preserved lemon and fine chalk dust. Then tropical and buxom through the middle. Granular and rock-salted at the end, her skeins of acidity and minerality deliberate yet precise. For drinking soon and can keep for a couple more years if needed.
