Domaine Bouchard Père et Fils, Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru 1995

Bouchard Chevalier Montrachet 1995

Twenty-years on tasting.

From magnum.

Yellow-gold.  Still vital and urgent with a mature sweetness.  Velvety, dried fruit intensity and swell.  Whiffs of leatherwood honey and iodine mist.  Ripe, spherical acidity.  Tapered finish, lapidary as she usually is, her Chevalier blades of beauty now sculpted yet just as detailed.  A timeless harmony to this wine.  Fully mature; drink soon.
