Straw with an emerald sheen.  Beauroy can run a bit thick but this ’08 has elegantly ripe depths of fruit allied to soaring structure.   Not as deliberate at the end as he usually is; more crystalline, just as penetrating.   The acidity is ripe and rounded off and ready for drinking; à point.  Now – 2018.
