From white, shallow clay-limestone soils in lieux-dit ‘Les Terres Blanches’. .42 h/a parcel, planted in 1988, converted to organic/BIO in 2006.
Lemon yellow with golden hints. The oak is woven seamlesssly into his fabric; he’s transparent and polished all the way through. His suggestions run to chalk, kaffir lime, angelica. Kinetic structure for ’07; the fruit is rigorous and taut, like a corset pulled tight. The finish is a lacy web of mineralic nuance. A scrupulous Terres Blanches. Drinking well now. Now – 2017+.
