Mature garnet, pale rim.  This has frisky spark and relief, borne of a climat deficient in earth, redolent of stone.  Streamlined flavors run to red currant, pomegranate and black tea.  Haunting finish, at once unadorned and complex (white oolite over pink limestone here in the Clos des Argillières).  An unflagging spirit to this Nuits; you can still keep this.  Now – 2020.
