Domaine Marc Colin et ses Fils, Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru 2005

Marc Colin Corton Charlemagne 2010

Ten years on.

Green-gold.  Flavors run to mutsu, rowan fruit, hedgeflower, oyster-shell.  The sweetness of the vintage helps ameliorate some of Marc Colin’s cyanic and amylic inclinations.  But these will always represent a mineralic expression of site, less about the fruit. Galvanic finish. A Charlie for those who love German Riesling.  Now – 2020.
