Orange gold, green rim. Off-dry now, he’s weighty and multi-layered, a drawn out band of adamant flavors: smoke and fig-scented botrytis, sorghum, carob, dried fruit, blossom honey. Balancing acidity with lime-grassy cut to freshen the wine. Thick and a bit indistinct, this example; it sputters, overcome by the wealth of material, unable to give it articulation.  Now – 2020+.
