Twenty five years on.

Fullish ruby, pale rim.  An enveloping Gevrey, as fathomless as he is inferential, evocative of purple flower, winter truffle, bellota ham, vadouvan spice.  Plush and ringent in texture, rubenesque of body.  Intoxicating fruit runs to morello and eau de vie de framboise.  Fine lines of acidity to lift the wine.  Haunting finish, with enough incisive minerality to let us know we are in Ruchottes.  Still a bright future ahead.  Now – 2025+.
