Five years on.
Primrose. On first glance he’s resinous, magnetic and reduced. More fully realized by day two: musky marigold, lemon oil and balsam, the deep shady forest wood sap of ’10. Not especially long but I appreciate the tension and class all the way through this wine. Give it at least another year in the cellar. It’s derived from two parcels: one by the river, the other in between Vergelesses and Guettes. Now – 2020.
