100% Chardonnay from Portlandian limestone in Ville-sur-Arce.  Organic/BIO.  Raised in used barrique for nine months.  Full malo.  Bottled without dosage.  2010 vintage, October 2012 disgorgement, 2014 release.

Yellow-gold, not as deep as the ‘Goustan’.  Bold and expansive, full of flavor, marked by a spicy calcaire freshness.  Savory, concentrated fruit.  Kinetic all the way through, culminating in a tension-filled finish of peppery accents.  Inquisitive for a wine so rich; opulent for a wine sans dosage.  Think about decanting this.  Now – 2020.
