Ten years on.
Rye straw with a touch of gold. A wine with reductive sparkle, just a hint of leesiness now. The nose is symmetrical, fruit-mineral, impeccably defined. Then rising with amplitude through the middle – solar ’05 making his presence known – dense, swollen flavors of canned peach and confiture. Finishes lissome and articulate. Exciting Kabinett; not just energetic but dynamic, clever and riven with tension. Now – 2020+.
