Rye-straw.    More secondaries showing now: smoky sassafras and kerosene.   The weight is appropriate for a Spätlese,  lithe lines of peach fuzz with tart rhubarb counterpoint.   Just the right amount of acidity to finish the wine in slatey elegance.  One of those wines for whom less is more.   Now – 2020+.
