Imperial ruby.  Give it a couple of hours for the oak to lift.  Masses of matter, textural and adamantly flavored: morello, purple iris, damp forest underbrush.  Long and deliberate at the end.  The acidity is good and he may taper a bit with further cellar time but this will always be described in authoritative terms.  Now – 2020+.
