Twenty five years on.

A jewel of a color, shiny ruby with a pale rim.  To say he embraces the old language presupposes he deigned to leave it in the first place.  Un vin a l’ancienne, he feels bifurcated, with steel on one side, fruit on the other.  The indigo shadings of ’90, absent the cookery, rainwater fresh.  His aim is slow, the symmetry is divine and the finish really threads the needle.  Many thanks, Chuck!  Now – 2020+.
