Lemon yellow, touch of gold. Filigee, pure and almost lacy: the ’01 grand crus were always long on personality and as time goes by they seemingly have less and less to prove. At once serene and urgent.  Flavors run to sweet tarragon, citrus succude, granular sea salt.   Limpid, mineralic finish.  A classic.  Now.
