Bright ruby.   Two years in and you can see the progress Freddy is making.  The Faiveley Maréchale was raised by wolves; in Freddy’s hands this cuvée has a more refined carriage.  Woodland fruit and spicy smoke in the juicy primed style of the best ’06s.   Mineral and articulate at the end; not a blatant Nuits.  Now – 2020+.
