May 2016

Yellow-gold. Vanilla cream custard, forest blackberries and raspberry compote in ultra-violet.   The acidity is trebly and citric and cuts like the prow of a ship.  The finish rings out: those berry tart notes resonate with the acoustics of cathedral.  Now – 2020+.

December 2015

Yellow-gold.  The white florality of ’08 and oh what fruit!  Texturally he’s velouté, with a downy, sun-drenched ripeness.  Pulsates with the energy of the vintage.  Drink it over a couple days and the fruit pulls back just enough to reveal the clay-limestone terroir underneath.  Now – 2020+.
