Flashes of amber in a swelling crescendo of Coteaux du Layon.  Apple cellar and cardamom with a pulpy solidity and charry salt smokiness.  If apotheosis is defined as the highest point in the development of something then the finish on this wine is like that.  Now – 2021+.
