Francisque Lapandéry, Côte Roannaise Vieilles Vignes Réserve 2013

Imported by Free Run, Seattle WA.

Pale crimson. The granitic soils of this southern Loire appellation are well-suited for Gamay and the wine is bright as the lights of L.A. County.  Sleek to the point of feeling stretched; pomegranate with spice and mineral accents and the finish is such a mighty pretty sight.  Now – 2020+.
