Ruby.  Hint of barrel tones, like some lavender essence and vanilla dotting the sauce. Textural for ’04, where liqueur-like intensity, sweetness and viscosity meet a dark and rising tide of carnal flavors and peat-like smokiness.  Finishes where the mouth of the river runs wide.  Now – 2020.
