80% Pinot Noir, 20% Chardonnay from a sirloin parcel in Vertus.  Traditional saignée method; raised in large oak cask.  No malo.  Dosage: 9 g/l.

Candy apple red.  Roasty aromas with a phenolic brace and a spiciness that made me think of China.  Sichuan spare rib and pêche de vigne and the finish is assertive and long.  A vinous powerhouse.  Now – 2022+.
