Bright ruby.  Extremely long and as impressive a Lalande that isn’t refined, isn’t polished.  Fennel juice strained through pencil lead.  Antique shop and woodland raspberry and sweet tobacco.  Weighty palate, still some tannin. The finish is vibrant and tense and leathery.  Now – 2025+.
