Ruby.  Stop-you-in-tracks fragrance of candy-cap mushroom and heliotrope.  The palate shows staggering density without being at all thick.  Bullet train of torque and yet the finish seems to go on forever.  The wine of the jubilee and a great ’88.  Now – 2023+.
